The frequency of posts dealing with "new" solutions like this bothers me. Are none of these guys older than 20yrs or is just AI bots? Staggeringly amateurish.


I went through an exploratory stage 16 years ago of this. It may be that more and more networks are opting for vendors who do not, in fact, offer 'internet' connections, but rather relayed proxies of various sorts, breaking things. After my bout, it kinda faded as I realized SSH-ing over almost any network was really a shoo-in. Then recently post covid i ran into similar blocks myself, so it may be on the rise with fortinet et al.
