Everyone of these meetups I've been to feels so...forced? I don't know but I've never really felt comfortable at these kinds of things. It's always so contrived?
I mostly just go to reddit meetups in Boston, so my perspective is slightly skewed, but I find the biggest problem is usually the venue. Very few places can seat more than 6 people or so together comfortably.
