Wow - I didn't even think node.js was that old. It will be interesting to see its genesis. The first git commit for node appears to have been on Feb 16, 2009:

I'm guessing the Atom project was WAY different back then, and has probably gone through several ground-up re-writes.


It probably started out as a Rails app, but then Node came along.

Gotta keep it relevant!
